The Masjid Project
The Muslim Community Center of Portland’s (MCCP) building on MLK Blvd. suffered substantial damage from a fire Thursday, October 17, 2013. In response to this displacement of our community, MCCP has built a new community center to replace the old structure and accommodate our growing community. This is situated at 5325 N Vancouver Avenue, at the corner of Killingsworth Street and Vancouver Avenue.
Please send any questions or comments to firstname.lastname@example.org. To contribute to MCCP’s fund-raising efforts, you may donate online:
Alternatively, please send your donations to P.O. Box 12214, Portland, Oregon 97212 (made payable to ‘The Muslim Community Center of Portland’). Charitable donations are tax deductible (MCCP is a 501c-3 non-profit). MCCP would like to thank everyone for their calls and concerns.
In the name of Allah the Most Merciful, Most Gracious we ask for your support in completing this final phase of our project and restabilizing the historical Muslim Community Center of Portland.
Lend unto God a goodly loan. Whatever good you shall forward on your behalf you shall find it with God, as better and richer in reward. [al-Muzzammil 73: 20.]
